We have created the capability to
perform full video-conferencing on the iPAQ by adding support for Winnov Videum PCMCIA camera to the vic
video conferencing tool modified to support video for linux 2 drivers.
The iPAQ
is running Linux with kernel version 2.4.18-rmk3 and equipped with the dual
PCMCIA sleeve (one for wireless Ethernet, and one for camera interface) for
live video transmission.
Here
are some pictures of the PCMCIA camera on iPAQ. The iPAQ is running vic
conferencing tool transmitting video stream via wireless Ethernet.
